About my “sensitivity” to chemical substances

A laboratory test established that I have an abnormality in my DNA, which means that I cannot tolerate even tiny amounts of toxic substances that I inhale, especially those present in aftershave, perfumes, but also in washing powder, soap, deodorants, and similar products.

My body cannot process or eliminate these substances properly. To me it feels as if I am being hit, and I need at least several hours to recover.

So I always have to leave a toxic environment as quickly as possible.

These substances remain “hanging” or “sticking” somewhere for an extremely long time. So even if the person carrying them has already left, they are still on the chair that was used (and I need to protect myself from that), on the ballpoint pen that was touched, and on everything in the surrounding area.

Our body gets rid of toxic substances, including those we inhale, in two phases.

A DNA / chromosome test can show how well or poorly this detoxification process works. Of course, even without such a test, you may notice that you are “sensitive” to certain substances and that you feel poisoned. But without testing, it can be dismissed as exaggeration.

In my case, Ron, I have an abnormality in phase 1 detoxification, and a smaller one in phase 2. As a result, my body removes inhaled toxic substances much more slowly than a “normal” person’s body.

In Karin’s case it is much more serious. The chemist who examined her DNA stated that she has “a very severe limitation” in phase 2 and that he had never seen such a poor abnormal combination before (1). (1) Mrs. ter Hoeven reacts to certain chemical compounds in the air with irritation and itching of the skin, muscle and joint pain, shortness of breath, migraine-like headaches, eye irritation, nausea, exhaustion, central nervous system symptoms, and general malaise.

To determine the cause of these symptoms, a genetic detoxification test was carried out, examining the 23 most important genes.

A similar induction is dangerous in combination with a poorly functioning second phase of detoxification. In Mrs. ter Hoeven, the GSTM1 gene, the gene that should bind glutathione to the previously mentioned bioactivated compounds, is completely absent. There is no compensation from the GSTP1 gene, because this gene is also polymorphic.

Mrs. ter Hoeven’s detoxification system is unable to neutralize or process even tiny amounts of toxic substances, such as those entering the body through inhalation.

Advice: Exposure to substances found in perfume, aftershave, cigarette smoke, air fresheners, fireplace smoke, exhaust fumes, etc., both indoors and outdoors, should be avoided as much as possible to prevent further accumulation and poisoning.
